COLOUR
Deep intense brick red.
NOSE
Lifted savoury notes, with leather spice and subtle berry.
PALATE
Is big rich and concentrated with a generous sweet fruit mid palate, and lovely lingering soft dry chalky tannins.
WINEMAKING
Our Shiraz from our Wills Domain Estate Block Six was machine picked in the cool of the morning, gently destemmed and inoculated with a cultured yeast strain, and fermented at 24-28 degrees. Once fermentation was complete, the wine was pressed and matured in French oak barriques for ten months.
FOOD PAIRING
Roast lamb shoulder or leg or barbeque sirloin.
